The characters behind the character
This project was born from the idea of combining Character Design and Typography, I was curious to experiment whether the two of them could in a way coexist together.
Armed with my favourite pencil and a sketchbook I started to literally play with the shapes of the first typeface, Helvetica.
As I was drawing Mr. Helvetica took shape and so all the others followed.
As for all visual experiments, is not the final result that matters but the whole experience that goes into it.
You never know where it could take you.
